Stopped here for a quick bite to eat for lunch after some google searches on the best pie shop in Daylesford (there is another bakery right across the road), this one seemed to be the recommended one, outside on the window there are the awards to prove this. Went here during the weekday around 1pm and most of the pies were selling out if not sold out. I had the regular beef pie. Nothing really special about it, I needed a bit of tomato sauce to help inject a bit more flavour into it as I found the gravy inside a bit lacking so it was a dry pie. Had a little bit of the sausage today which I found slightly more tasty. I wouldnt necessarily drive all the way for the pies here but if you are in the area, its an alright option for a quick, cheap lunch.

Florentine is great. Sweet, crispy and drizzled with chocolate sauce

We walked into this small bakery and found a small table at the corner.
We ordered a beef with black pepper , coffee & a sausage roll.
The gravy inside the pie was nice and hot, however the pastry was a bit too thick.

Will go back to this shop again and try the desserts.
