Cosy retro/vintage Chinese restaurant in Daylesford town centre.
Now under new management and they have a new menu aswell.
We ordered the scallop dumplings and lamb skewers for entree. For main we had the Beef with Mushrooms and Special Fried Rice.
All the food was made using fresh ingredients. Meat was tender and vegetables still had a nice crispness not over cooked. Dumplings were freshly steamed and wrapper was not too thick or too thin. The fried rice was cooked perfectly (not soggy) and had a good amount of veggies, meat and shrimp. Our favourite was the lamb skewers which also had skewed capsicum and onion pieces, they were nicely cooked and flavoursome.
I would return to this restaurant next time I’m in Daylesford and look forward to trying more of their dishes. Friendly customer’s service.
