Love love LOVE this place. Came two days in a row whilst on a long weekend away. Staff are friendly and for $18 make up a platter of local mixed cheeses and meats tailored to your likes and dislikes. Wine is provided from shop next door. Can not recommend highly enough.
Wine & the Country, is a retailer of meat, dairy and wine products, so my judgment is based on customer service, instead of food quality (they only serve cheese and meat platters & drinks).
I’ve been here twice. 1st time excellent service & kind, 2nd time awful, rude and unfriendly.
So, do I go here again, not sure, because it absolutely depends on the personal character of the person serving customers on the day, not training or the business culture.
Would I recommend it, I’d say be careful.
Do you get reasonable prices? Not to be honest with you.
