Very tasty, can highly recommend the smoked trout. Perhaps a little overpriced, but worth a try. Beautiful surroundings as its nestled in the middle of the botanical gardens, though rug up if its cold weather

There are three sitting areas and we chose to sit in the back garden. A bit cold even in Autumn so it would be great if there are outdoor heaters. The garden is really nice with olive trees, lime and lemon trees. Food took awhile to arrive (more than 45 mins) even though it is Thursday not during the weekends. But it is absolutely yummy so we didnt mind the wait. We also got a flat white with almond milk and it was to die for – smooth and creamy, most places and cafes that we have been to dont do coffee with almond milk as nice as this place . Staff is very nice and friendly.

Beautiful spot but food is definitely lacking quality. We ordered lunch so i can’t speak for breakfast.
Upon arriving the indoor part was smelling of deep frying oil.

A girls weekend down in Daylesford, we came to the Wombat Hill House for brunch on a Saturday. Surrounded by beautiful scenes of nature & a colourful glasshouse, we choose to sit outside. Staff were super friendly and appreciative.

The breakfast menu was limited but we went for Zucchini & Spinach fritters, poached eggs on sourdough with spinach, mushroom and goats cheese and poached eggs on sourdough with bacon. The food itself was tasty but meal sizes couldve been a little bigger given prices. Sadly the meals werent too filling either so within one hour, we were hungry again. We would come back, but it would be for lunch!

Me and my boyfriend was there on a public holiday and the cafe was so packed . Staff told me that i have to wait for 40mins for my food which understandable but when the food came out i was so disappointed because the flavor wasn’t there.
My pumpkin pizza was so bland and oily. The burger was just ok but not worth for $25 and the cake was overcook and dry not pleasant to eat at all but they served decent coffee. The service was ok

The restaurant setting is so beautiful. They located in the middle of Wambat botanical garden. If you go there around spring you will see a full bloom of camellia flower near the cafe.

Will be back just for a photo and coffee but not for the food

Such a nice location for a cafe, the gardens are beautiful and the cafe is really cute! The food was not really anything special in my opinion. Had the croque senor without chorizo. It was nice but very full on, was glad I shared it as I couldnt even finish half. Also shared the fritters, they were pretty disappointing as they were a bit dry and the flavour wasnt that nice. Was really glad I asked for a side of goats cheese as I think it really needed it.

Great little cafe surrounded by beautiful gardens. Lovely cakes and light meals, coffee & served with a smile, a very nice place to visit on any day.
