Good burgers that hit the spot, located in a centralised location in the western suburbs? A must try no doubt.Today we visited Hog a Burger and were greeted by an aromatic, fresh burger smell. We ordered the classic, and American burger with a side of Poutine fries. The burgers were good, decent level of juicyness and definitely made fresh before out eyes. The fries were also good, albeit almost as much as the burger in price! Cheeses and gravy used were okay. The burgers here resemble that of a home made, authentic taste. Whilst not the most juicy or memorable burger, it does a good job at satisfying your burger cravings well.Decent burgers by any measure!Food: 3.5/5Service: 3.5/5Value: 3.5/5Ambience: 3.5/5Overall: 3.5/5

Tried this the first week it opened and i was highly disappointed. The burgers were dry and loaded fried lacked any flavor. The girl that was handling the food didn’t wear a glove!!! It was extremely cringeworthy watching her finger dig into our fries and burgers. Worse of all she was handling cash at one stage. The bloke was nice though. Was hoping to be good as it’s the closest burger to us. We’ll travel a bit further for St Burg instead

Ubereats midweek. All American was very saucy. There’s some spice in their burger sauce too. The burger overall had a high moisture content. Felt a bit sloppy to eat. But everything in it was good and it tasted great. Battered Fries were chunky with a good amount of salt. Others were happy with their Big Bang Burger & the Sriracha Chicken pieces. A good addition to the area.

Came in with a group of 4 on Saturday for early lunch. The place was not very busy but consistent uber orders were going out. Between us we ordered 4 different burgers, 2 shakes and some chips. The burgers here are yum, sort of a mix between an american style and home style burger. The patties have that distinctive home made taste that is a little bit easier on the stomach than the heart attack inducing american burger outlets. The shakes were a hit. I personally tried the tiramisu one which had a really nice coffee shake and plenty of toppings. Chips were decent, not amazing but still good and what you would expect.
