Staff were friendly and approachable and quite helpful. The Ube (Taro/Yam) milkshake was my favourite thing that we ordered that day. It wasn’t overly sweet. It was a good balance.
First time to have fried chicken with Belgian waffles; and I never thought that I will like it, but this place amazed me. Chicken was well cook (tasty and juicy), the waffle very good texture. I would love a spicy version please!!!. Coffee was mediocre, flat white was milky (needs stronger coffee). I think waffle project concept works well. Kudos to you for presenting an alternative to the usual in the area. I suggest every foodie must try WP!

Great food (Favourite milkshake is the Ube shake – miss the yema cakes though), cool set up, really friendly staff however, sometimes not open when their opening hours have stated otherwise. I have come here to try to have dinner, as it says open until 9pm but to my disappointment they were closed more than 2 times now this has happened. There have been times where there are other people as well wanting to eat here at The Waffle Project but due to them being closed customers who have driven all the way here resort to eating to restaurants close by like Western Pho or Latin Foods. This has also happened during brunch times, stating that they open at 11am but weren’t and so I instead ate brunch at Latin foods.
I was born in the Philippines but I moved to Australia 9 years ago and havent been back since. So I always try to find a nice Filipino restaurant that would remind me of home but would have a good ambience (aesthetics is an added bonus). And I have to say… I think Ive found the one. Its a small but cosy and comfortable restaurant with very aesthetically pleasing food. Its not only pretty, but theyre also very generous with their portions!
I tried the burger steak they had as it reminded me of the burger steak from jollibee. It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I cant even describe how good it was, but I recommend that you try it yourself.
I also tried the yema waffles and ube waffles and theyre super unique but super good! I recommend getting ice cream with them. The warm waffles topped with the vanilla ice cream was decadent!
Have been visiting here almost every three weeks, since theyve opened! Friendly staff. Good big servings for breakfast. Great ube waffles! The ube milkshake is for the serious sweet tooth. Sausage patty and gravy with rice is a must!
Perhaps add matcha to the menu?
Wanting to try TWPs take on fried chicken and waffles!
Stay classy,
S.
