One of the best kebab joints in the area. Fast service, great food and very cheap!
Wanting to try a bit of everything, my friend and I opted for the Mixed Grill. We have never had rice before with grilled kebab meat, so it was worth a try. The rice went surprisingly well with the chicken and lamb shish. It was very tasty and did not taste gamy at all. The Adana and cutlets were grilled to perfection and did not taste fatty at all. Complete with the shaved kebab meat and Turkish bread, this was a feast for us two!
We will definitely be back!
Best Kebabs in the town, the meat is tender, love their bread. Great place for a quick bite though Ill prefer a take away as this place is always crowded, the wait time is long but worth the wait.
Roxy Kebabs is one of the most infamous and popular kebab restaurants in the western suburbs and is almost always busy regardless of the time of day. Today we decided to try it out and were met with the expected busyness.
Service is prompt and friendly, allowing us to happily order a chicken meal set with tzatziki and a mixed meal with capsicum sauce. The sauce options here are better than most, especially complimented with an abundance of fresh, warm pita bread that is soft and goes well with the meat. The meats themselves were good, just not as succulent or tender as other places. The salad we left as we aren’t usually a fan of salads, and today was no different. The pita bread was soft, and meshed with the sauce nicely. The chips could have used some crunch and salts, however were otherwise decent.
Definitely can see the appeal of these kebabs, and will be sure to try a HSP in future. Good meats and good service, will consider as a takeaway option in future.
