Overall, a really nice restaurant. The staff are really friendly. I have come to this restaurant more in the last few weeks, and every time it has been a pleasant time. The food is cooked not in a crazily spectacular way, but everything is reminiscent of great homely cooking, taken to the next level. The times I’ve had soup noodle dishes, the soup has been fragrant, and the noodle consistency a good chew. The spring rolls were not thin, poorly-filled sticks of pastry, and the serving size was respectable, with a matching amount of lettuce to wrap! (I’ve been surprised by the number of places that have poorly coordinated amounts)Topping it all off with 1+1, this place is a definite must-try that is hidden just off the main road.
We went to Saigon Pho for dinner tonight to escape the what of home. My husband and I ordered crispy pork bao buns and chargrilled pork with spring roll vermicelli. Bao was nice and had good flavour. The vermicelli was also nice, the pork was tender and had a nice flavour to it, the spring rolls in the vermicelli were very flavourful as well. I’d like to come back to try different dishes, as well as try their Pho.

The food – we had Chicken & prawn spring rolls and grilled chicken bun for starters. Chicken Pho and south style vietnamese chicken curry with rice. Taste was absolutely amazing, food was fresh and had all the right flavours.Ambience & service – the interiors are contemporary with a nice feature wall with Vietnamese painting. Service was quick and smooth.Overall a very good place for vietnamese food and much much recommended .
New favourite place to go! Loved it. Food fresh, quick service. Got a little loud but that’s because it was so busy. Amazing food. Will definitely be back many more times.
love love LOVE this place! definitely one of our regular go to for post gym! must try their rice paper rolls/and chicken baos!! the chickens so flavoursome! they also do vietnamese bread rolls would suggest if you are wanting to enjoy the traditional roll in-house as suppose to the usual takeaway banh mi. i found their vietnamese spring roll vermicelli a bit too oily for my liking but nonetheless a goodie in the west (: x
Located in the outer West, Saigon Pho Derrimut dishes up a quality, traditional Vietnamese feed that not only taste great, but offers good value too!Their Crispy Roast Pork is of course, a must, and we will definitely be back to try the Pho.
