Excellent spot that is a little hidden given it is down in Docklands. Service was speedy and efficient whilst still providing excellent quality food. The pork belly bao is perfect, with a beautifully flavoursome sauce. Highly recommend the rice pancake with pork for something a little different.

The sriracha fried chicken wings are sooo delicious!! The beef pho was nice and a large portion size. It comes with lemon, basil and bean shoots on the side as youd expect, but some hoisin sauce would top it off.

Looking for some casual lunch or dinner spots? Well the search is over and I have a confession to make. Im addicted to @banoi.au lol Im serious, I have been eating here every week on my lunch breaks and I cant seem to stop. This Vietnamese chain perfects my fav dish of vermicelli noodles, grilled chicken and salad. Its fresh, healthy and so delicious. But wait theres more; their bao buns, chicken ribs, pho and lunch banquets are everything to help you forget about the deadlines and frustrating stakeholders. Did I mention they do lychee crushes, fresh passionfruit sodas ( ) and ridiculously good strong Vietnamese coffee? With three spots in town, I think my work here is done, have a great one MFG x

+ speedy service, delicious food, good value, multiple locations
    – language barrier sometimes with service, stools for seating (cant sit for long periods of time), outdoor has no table service

Banoi is a Vietnamese restaurant that serves a mixture of contemporary and traditional dishes within a modern environment. Weve eaten here many times and find the majority of the dishes really good, while some of them not so much.

With entrees, the springs rolls here are made with a unique crumb pastry which is pretty delicious, while the Sriracha Chicken Ribs are surprisingly good. For mains, the variety of vermicelli salads and the Pork & Prawn Dry Combination Noodles are our favourites to recommend. A more obscure choice is probably the Saigon Steamed Rice Rolled Pancake – its not a dish youd see often, and its definitely worth trying out.

Unfortunately, the Pho here is pretty subpar; it lacks the subtle sweetness and flavour of most Pho, and is simply too salty. Stick to more traditional Pho places if thats what youre after. Also the Vietnamese Hot Bread is mediocre here. Again, there are better places to go for that.

Apart from the food, the environment is very cool; they always have chill indie music playing. However, the service is a bit indifferent sometimes depending on the staff. Overall, this place is a top choice for somewhat contemporary (and non-Pho) Vietnamese food.

I love this little Vietnamese eatery in Docklands. The wooden theme for its interior is warm and welcoming.
The Chicken Salad with Asian herbs was fresh and tasty while their Pork and Prawn Dry Combination Noodle was a sight to behold – a mountain of bean sprouts and herbs on well cooked egg noodles plus generous portions of meat. Everything was delicious but it took awhile for the food to come out. Fortunately the lovely waitress kept us up to date and apologised for the delay.
    Will be back.

Called into this lovely very busy restaurant. We were given a table promptly and offered water and menus. We ordered rice paper rolls, ban mai, pork mince satay and chicken ribs. All delicious. Will return
