Located in shopping town of Docklands, Billy District is a spacious, comfortable restaurant offering all day breakfast as well continental menu. Nothing particularly catchy about menu or ambience, location is suited for shoppers.
We tried lamb souvlaki however it was not the shredded lamb one normally us served however it was cubes on a skewer, tasty but bit chewy. Margarita pizza was ok just enough cheese. Pastas were good, particularly the roasted pumpkin had a nut gravy which was unique.
Service is good. Overall experience 3/5.

I have only been to Yum Cha at The District, so I thought we should try something else. Bad move. Billys District could have been good. Great location, large spacious area, comfy seating…. let down by slow, clueless staff.
I had to ask twice to get water, twice to get a high chair, at 11:45am one staff told us we can have lunch and will get us a lunch menu, which didnt turn up. When we ask another staff they said we can have breakfast only. Then we had to ask twice for a milkshake, got an order wrong…. the list just goes on. They werent overly busy, but their staff looked run off their feet, possibly because they just kept having to correct the other persons mistakes.
When we were ordering drinks, we tried to order food as well and the waitress mumbled something about not being able to take orders and walked away. We werent sure whether she got our drinks order and had to reorder again, then got double orders.
The food is so-so. We ordered creamy chicken penne, chicken nuggets and chips and fish and chips for kiddos. Kudos for them for not putting too much salt in the chips. But thats about the positive. The vanilla milkshake was too sweet.

So not all Billys are the same. I got the BLT & my sister got something we forgot the name of like a quinoa salad?. The food came out super fast. Didnt expect that at all. The BLT was great nothing to fault. My sister really liked how they put the yoghurt on her meal. Definitely made it tastier.
Lunch here today at Docklands and having eaten at Little Billy in the CBD assumed this place would be on par. Unfortunately was a little disappointed that it didnt live up to its sister restaurant.
While the staff were friendly , had to ask twice for water and the waitress forgot one of our orders.
That aside the food we did received was good (but no more than that). Ordered the chicken mango salad and the lamb kebab with pita bread and Greek salad. The lamb was actually pretty tasty.
Would love this place to pick up their game and read the reviews that customers leave on here as The District is undergoing major transformation and competition is tight here.
