Stopped for a super quick bircher muesli breakfast. Made with almond milk and Greek yoghurt this bircher wasnt sweet (which I loved) and topped with seeds and goji berries. The addition of frozen blueberries on top was very clever and added an interesting crunchy texture.

I hit the ESC key on my work for a longer than usual lunch break today so ventured down to Caffe ESC which is on the corner of the ANZ building in Docklands. Most were sitting outside but my dining buddy preferred an inside table and we were promptly seated. This cafe has quite a decent range on the everyday menu but also had an interesting specials range on a wall blackboard. Their brunch menu goes until 2pm.

I ordered the grilled chicken burger and we also ordered the Nasi Goreng. My chicken burger came out in a delightfully soft Turkish bread bun. The chicken wasnt crumbed and had only a mild seasoning. It was exactly what I felt like as I have been eating a lot of fried chicken just recently. You will forgive me my yummy chips I hope. They were good. The Nasi Goreng came in a bowl with egg and I was advised it was tasty and by all accounts gone at the end of our dining experience.

I would come back here to try some of the healthy sounding cereal based breakfasts which appealed.
