Who would have thought that this little gem would be so close to home and just outside the local Woolworths? Nice!! Quite a nice place for a good feed with generous servings and quality, friendly service to accompany the fresh ingredients that are provided to you. I ordered the free range eggs on toast (scrambled) with avocado, and was pleasantly surprised with the offering. The eggs were extremely light and fluffy, cooked to perfection, and the avocado was magnificent (beautifully presented and terrific quality). I was a bit concerned by the $4 price tag for avocado as an add-on, but now understand why (see picture – the size is huge and quality fantastic).
The only let-downs about this venue were the ambience, which is a little run-down (chairs/couches could do with a bit of an upgrade), and the coffee (which was a soy latte) was a bit bitter. Other than that, a terrific venue for a great meal that is sure not to disappoint.

I opted for their NY Deli sandwich, a fantastic tasty combination of toasted black bread, pastrami, chicken, pickle and mustard. I’m going back for their Reuben’s I have to try it, I highly recommend this little place, great, friendly staff and service too.
Great food, always consistent, and very friendly. I’ve been coming here regularly for 2 years now. They’re open super early during the week and open weekends which is really convenient.
This is my favorite place to go in docklands! My dragon boating team comes there after training and they are able to manage 20+ orders and allow us to move the tables so we can all sit together.
I always make changes to my order and they always get it right.
This place is like my central perk.

Amazing Coffee!!. I go to D.G. Expresso regularly and have not once been disappointed. The coffee is smooth and aromatic, always made just right. The proprietor is passionate and knowledgeable about coffee, with many years experience. I am particularly fond of the freshly made crepes! Great selection of sandwiches and breakfast options too. Perfect place to sit and relax with some great food during my lunch breaks.
Best cafe in Docklands and the staff are great too. Every morning before work, without fail, I go to DGs for me skinny latte with cinnamon on top. I dont even have to ask now, I just walk in and
they start making it for me. I love their coffee, the lounge seats are awesome and Mark and Zee are great to put a smile on my face every morning. I have taken friends here for lunch who say nothing but great things about the food. It is always fresh and smells great.
