Unfriendly ambience, their manager maria doesn’t even know what she is doing and usually yell at her staff. Very unwelcoming place. The pros is only because it is next to the stadium however there are plenty of other cafes around as well.
Has turned into absolute shit with new owners. Took nearly 25 minutes for lasagne & chips to be brought from the Bain Mari – minus our salad.
Then plate came back with a bit of salad just dumped on top of lasagne/chips – know it’s not a five star restaurant – but, bit of class please.
Then we had to take the lasagne back as it was nearly cold – vile.
That place used to be great for a meal before the footy but it’s shit now.
Go somewhere else!!!
Am sitting in the Harbour Cafe in a party of 4. Two steak sandwiches with chips were part of the order and they took 40 minutes to come out after reminding staff twice. Remember a steak sandwich is not beef bourginon.
Upon arrival one of the steaks was raw. Off it goes back to the kitchen and twenty minutes later still waiting.
The place is about half full everyone around us is getting their food straight away.
Did we do anything wrong?
This is the worst ever. Will not be returning even if my life depends on it.
We are now walking out and going elsewhere.
Good variety of foods at very reasonable prices; from focciacias to hot food and coffee.
Spacious with plenty of seating and very convenient location.
Consistently good. Friendly service.
Half a dozen hot dishes plus a range of focaccia.
Great cakes and fantastic coffee.
Liquor licence is a bonus!
