The worst nigiri sushi I’ve ever had, feels like plastic. The rice is tasteless, hard and comes in a compact block like it was pressed really hard. The tuna is hard and doesn’t taste like fresh at all. Never again.
The curry beef don at Ichimaki was flavoursome; the curry sauce itself specifically. Spice levels just at that subliminally good level. However, the beef had issues man. Big issues. Large, chewy pieces that required the use of a knife, and even then it was hard work slicing through. It was definitely a case of quantity, not quality. The steamed dimmie though, was quality. Hard to f–k up a dim sim tho isn’t it?

I have lost count of the no of times I have had my lunch at this place. The bentos, dons, ramens, you name it. This bento has croquettes, gyozas – pork dumplings, teriyaki chicken, rice, fresh salad and veggie spring rolls. The rolls are my fav! The mayonnaise tastes lip smacking good!
