I’ve egg and baconed at this place quite a bit. Muffins are worth it, rolls are not. None of it comes with any sauce so is dry af. Had a take away parma and chips once…never again. Essentially ate a heart shaped piece of bread with surprisingly good chips and really really salty gravy.
Absolutely terrible service! I was at the convention center working the Salon Expo and popped in there for a coffee and a quick breakfast. Ordered a toasted Panini and coffee special and waited almost 15 minutes. I received an eggs benedict and when I took it back, they blamed the previous customer. It was getting late and they said it will only take 2 minutes to get mine. After 5 I received mine and walked out, checked it just in case, extremely hot and soft (floppy)and saw that it was not toasted, it was microwaved. I took it back, they denied it was microwaved and as it had been 25 minutes, I said keep the money and the food, your service is disgusting. Be careful what they serve you there, you may not get what you wanted!
RHUMBAS MAKES ME SICK. Rhumbas????? Are these guys serious??? They Charge a different price for the same meal. They are an absolute joke.
The people working there are a joke and management need to wake up and see how they are running their busineess. Poor service, Poor Quality of food.
Give this place a break. Most of the negative reviews here appear to relate to Rhumbas at the Crown Casino which, while doubtless being part of the same chain, is an entirely different establishment. I visit here several times a week and consistently find that the service is welcoming, professional and efficient. The food is of a high quality, the staff are all hard-working and diligent, and the coffee is excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to colleagues and friends.
Worst food ever!!!! Even at the crown location the gourmet veg pastie is absolutely not gourmet, unless u classify a frozen veg mix consisting of old carrot etc is gourmet
Avoid at all costs. Eating a steak sandwich from here was like chewing on an old shoe, except the shoe would have tasted nicer.
Not worth the $9 they charged or the ten minute wait to have it made.
Very average hot food – they put in the minimum amount of effort they think can get away with. Cakes are the mass produced variety seen in every other low effort / high return establishment. Staff are nice though 🙂
