Came for dinner on a Friday night with a big group. There werent a lot of other people in the restaurant and we were the last ones to leave when they closed. Im surprised because this restaurant was a lot better than the other Squires Loft restaurants that Ive been to. We had to wait a little bit for our meals to come out, but thats understandable because we were quite a large group. The service was very wonderful, super friendly and very attentive. Meals were really nice, my only disappointment is that the plates are really small and the portions are big, which makes it really hard to eat. The plates look good and are presented beautifully but its really impractical and very difficult to eat. Very awkward and really hard not to make a mess everywhere with food falling off the plate.

Can I just start by saying this place does great steak! It was absolutely delicious! Cooked to perfection and with a tasty sauce, I really enjoyed it. The chips were a little disappointing, but freshly cooked and I added my own salt. Presentation was nothing amazing, but theres not a whole lot you can do with two items. The service was quick and efficient and staff pleasant and helpful.
Being child friendly is another win.
It was a little hard to find (located on the waterfront at the back of the whole building – #818 Bourke) but they do have a small sign visible from Bourke Street.
Would definitely return.
