Larger groups or those looking for a booth on the balcony have access to Tap831’s upstairs (1st floor). The interior is spacious where tables are spaced far apart enough that you get that intimacy without also losing that sense of community.
What a pleasant space in docklands!

Thai Beef Salad: Asain slaw, lychee, cucumber, cherry tomato, Spanish onion, holy basil, bean shoots topped with peanuts, garlic and shaved coconut ($20.00)
Hand cut chips (v) with house aioli ($7.00)
Review:
I like the crispy, crunchiness of the asian slaw, and the 2 pieces of lychee I found which added to the sweetness.
The beef caused a little controversy through – my friend hated the fried mince texture but I preferred the way Tap831 did it. Only because I would rather their ‘fried’ mince over dry, chewy, hardened beef.
I’ll take the lesser of two evils thanks!
The chips were overkill on top of the filling Asian slaw and the potatoes made you feel quite full. The aioli was nice – but would recommend to get it as an add on if you have someone to share with you/you feel very hungry!
