Tried the chicken katsu. Simply amazing. Just the right amount of crispness and the meat is not dry. The potato mash is well flavoured and the salad is lightly drizzled. Rice is soft yet fluffy. A well made meal and friendly service with a good amount of seats.
Cute little Japanese restaurant with a delectable selection of takeaway sushi packs and individual nigiri. I had some scallop, salmon, grilled salmon and crumbed prawn nigiri. All were delicious especially the scallop. The only issue is that they are the tiniest nigiri I have ever seen with the smallest finger of rice. You would need to eat a lot to be full and end up paying top dollar.
I had to wait 30 minutes to get my curry udon – service is extremely slow. Not cool. Food tastes alright and there is quite a rush during lunchtime.
Tasty food – the grilled nigiri sushi are really good! The soba noodles and udon are actually pretty decent.
Like the reviewer below, I think this restaurant is under new management.
the new restaurant which is taberu-ya is far much better than the old sukura one. i believe all the previous reviews are for the old restaurant. the foood is really awesome as i go there almost everytime for lunch. it’s definitely worth a 5/5. i would recommend the spicy pork bento, the Katsu chicken curry and the awesomely delicious scallop sushi which is a very good bargain at $1.20 each.
Do you like shin ramyun? If so come here and buy it for $7. This is the most blatant scam of $1 dollar 2 min noodles in the history of man kind. Do yourselves a favour and buy a like a box instead
Worst place ever. Ordered ramen got instant noodles ‘ramen’. Most exp instant noodles ever! You people make me sick – learn to cook you tight a$$ FFS
