A nice place to unwind for a meal at lunch or while waiting for the traffic to cease before heading home. The staff here is friendly and welcoming.

There are only a few specialised pasta on offer where the pasta type and sauce are non exchangeable. The pasta price here is dearer but they’re freshly made and you can definitely taste the difference in texture. It’s better value if you eat during happy hours on Monday and Tuesday as pasta is $12.

Because it’s fresh pasta the sauce gets absorbed quickly into the dough so it’s best eaten right away in store; one time I had it take away and it was 40% more dry and has lost some flavours. Of the ones we tried, the pappardelle was the favourite with a rich mushroom sauce and nicely seasoned. The tagliatelle was nice but the bacon was too salty thus ruining the palate after a few mouthful. As for the chitarra it was refreshing with pistachio crumbs but slighty bland.

Great pasta place in Docklands, with amazing affordable food and an attentive service.

    Ordered:
Casarecce: 12-hour pork and beal ragu, reggiano, parmesan, parsley ($15.00)

    Review:
I loved the casarecce pasta – it was my first time having anything like it. Al dente and fun to eat with work colleagues, the piping hot pasta was a delight to my senses. Flavours balanced, I wouldn’t turn down an opportunity to come back and try another dish.

Organizing lunch here was seamless and easy. Through Christeen, we were able to arrange for a pre-order and she was very accommodating to our group. She even had our pasta ready within 5 minutes of our arrival! Twirled Pasta Bar also allowed for split billing which is absolutely amazing.

When she delivered our food, instead of calling our the pasta dish, she referred to our name. That small attention to detail really added that personal element to our dining experience which was highly appreciated.

My one question would come from the use of plastic table wrap over the gorgeous tables.
It lowers the standard of the restaurant a little, even though I can understand the practical use of plastic as being easier to clean and wipe down. Other than that, the natural light flooding the restaurant is amazing for photographs.

Would highly recommend this place to bring your work mates and/or friends. Open environment and atmosphere makes discussions very easy.

Walked in to suss out what the fuss was all about during my lunch break from work.

Service was alright, although the pasta beef and veal ragu came out only after 20 mins of waiting. The reason Im pointing this out is because people who are in a rush wouldnt bother visiting this place as the wait just makes it impossible..

The dish was alright in terms of flavour. A little on the heavy side filled with sauce but not a glimpse of meat can be seen, as shown in the photo.

Unless theres a celebratory occasion where all my colleagues get together and we can afford more time,I would give this a miss.

Tiny menu which would be ok if the food was exceptional but its not. Bland, bland, bland. Garlic bread was good, good selection of drinks, friendly service and good location for Marvel stadium. The ingredients are there, but seasoning and flavours need a huge lift.
