Asked for a chicken and mayo sandwich, the guy picked up the egg and spinach next to it. When I questioned him about it he firmly told me it was the chicken. Left for my train and behold, the sandwich was egg when I bit into it.
Tall guy with beanie, absolutely appalling customer service! ‘Accidentally’ forgot my latte and I kindly (I was kind about it) reminded him. He said someone else took it. They didn’t. I had been standing front and center for 10 minutes. Then he argues and makes me a cap with full cream milk. I wanted skinny milk and a LATTE. I then asked for my money back. He argued again and gave me my money and wished me good luck with my life. Disgusting!
This was on top of forgetting about my egg and bacon roll last week. I decided to give them a second chance…. I shouldn’t have wasted my time.
The coffee shop was comfortable and The cappuccino was lukewarm and full of chocolate….i also like the melting moments it is sweet,,creamy
Went here today so I could surprise my boyfriend during his lunch break. Bought a flat white, mocha and a ham and cheese toastie.
-the service was terrible; they were rude, the guy literally shoved my toastie in my face, and I wasn’t offered a carrier despite having completely full hands
-the coffee was terrible and watery… We took a sip each and threw it out.
-and the toastie was dry and tasted old
This used to be my go to cafe for my morning coffee run. Strategically located on Southern Cross station. It used to serve good quality coffee but recently they are very busy which has caused their service to go down. Today for example, I ordered a egg muffin and I got a egg and bacon muffin. I do not eat bacon so I din’t eat the muffin. I asked for a coffee with one sugar and I got coffee with no sugar. I for one can’t drink coffee with no sugar. I can understand if they are busy but I need my money’s worth. Needless to say I am going to buy my coffee from elsewhere from now on.
Its no secret that the Swine drinks quite a bit of coffee. The Swine has a few city faves that bring him the expected quality very nearly every single time (kudos) …and then there is the ongoing search for new coffee options – and lets face it many of these go diabolically wrong – mediocre or horse butt horrible! Today the Swine took a gamble on Velluto. It is located on the higher level of Southern Cross train station (Collins Street end). Wowza! Credit where its due, this was a great coffee. Great blend and tasty!! The Swine thinks the barristas here obviously make their coffee with love. Well worth trying. The Swine will be back.
They got my order wrong… I ordered a ham and brie focaccia but instead was given a turkey and cranberry focaccia, plus when they toasted the focaccia they ended up burning it. For around $9, it wasn’t really worth the price. I would recommend going to In A Rush instead where you can get a baguette instead for just a little over $6.
