We were invited to the newly renamed View last night, its been over 5 years since my one and only visit and things have definitely gone downhill since then. Half the buffet was empty, what was there looked quite unappetising as though it had been sitting there awhile and the signage was really poor which doesnt help those with dietary requirements.
There was a made to order wagyu station which honestly didnt taste wagyu quality. The only redeeming feature was the dessert and I would imagine thats not made in house. We tried several of the cakes and they were all quite enjoyable. Majority of the ice cream was also connoisseur which was good to see.
Before we left the sweet and sour fish was replenished which was rather tasty but I definitely would have preferred to eat it pre dessert had it been available. Overall it was unfortunately the worst buffet Ive been to

We headed to Igg for a refuel post a busy morning shopping. A $45 buffet offering for lunch is a pretty good deal if you are big on seafood as you can load up on prawns, mussels and oysters to your hearts content. I lazily am not the biggest fan of peeling my own prawns however my dining companions were going to town.
The atmosphere is lovely with water views and the venue itself being quite beautiful but unfortunately I think I am a bit spoiled by having dined at the Conservatory so regularly that I have high standards for buffets and would ultimately prefer to pay a bit more of a premium and enjoy my experience for both the ambiance and the high quality food. Worth checking out but definitely not my ultimate when it comes to fancy buffets
this is one of those if I could leave no stars I would reviews. Besides the unprofessional staff and terrible atmosphere, the worst part is that The food was cold and not fresh .
Im not exaggerating when I say 17 of their 20 food trays were empty or they were just cold and stale . The audacity that they would try to charge $68 per person is just a joke. Avoid the headache and disappointment, youre better off eating anywhere else.
