We decided to try the new local Malaysian restaurant and unfortunately, there was no local gem found here.

We ordered the Fried Koay Teow, Beef Hor Fun, BBQ Pork with rice and the Roast Pork with rice. I tasted the roast pork and found it on the dry side. The disappointing dish was the Fried Koay Teow! It lacked flavour and just tasted oily.

I have eaten at their other restaurant and this one is no comparable. This will be our first and last visit!

I have been busting to try this place since it opened! Love Asian food in general, but not your lemon chicken style! We snuck in for a midweek lunch and I was surprised at how busy it was.
The service was efficient and we werent left waiting. I had the hor fun while my fellow diners had laksa and Tom yum… the soups were pretty good but lacking a bit of flavour and zing. Not particularly spicy nor fragrant as weve become used to.
Ill be back, but might give it time to mature a bit more!

After being seated for not even 10 minutes we were advised to order quickly. Very pushy and comes off as rude. I’d understand if the food was good, but it was average at best. Their other branch is better quality. Ordered the Bak kut teh, the meat was dry and felt rushed, the taste of the broth was okay could have been more complex. Fried squid tentacles werent bad, the ‘dim sims’ looked dry and gross as if it had been sitting out for a while, it tasted okay but definitely a lot smaller than their other shop at Ampang Tofu.

So pleased to see another Ampang in the area. The one in Doncaster is small and always crowded. So happy to see another branch with a bigger and spacious venue. Food-wise, pretty much the same as the Ampang in Doncaster? This one has a really fancy-looking menu which we like cos it made ordering of the Yong Tau Foo very easy. We also tried the char kway teow which was pretty authentic and tasty. Service-wise, staff were very friendly and chatty. I can see myself being a regular here.

Came here for lunch, and they have stopped serving Yong Tau Foo!! What a disappointment. Still, the other dishes were great.
