Really good dumplings. Ordered UberEATS and was not disappointed. Also brownie points because just ran out of soy sauce at home and asked for extra and got a LARGE TUB SO THANK YOU!! Will definitely be ordering again
Here’s another East Doncaster gem! Great place for a quick and delicious meal with friends or family. The menu is a bit haphazard so here’s a tip…..go for their dumplings!
We had the pork dumplings as well as the prawn dumplings – both did not disappoint. Great big chunks of meat wrapped in a crispy shell….yum yum!
The beef brisket noodle was tasty with generous pieces of meat. Their spicy chicken with rice was just right and it went well with the hot and spicy soup.
Service was warm and friendly.
Top marks for Amy!
Clean and swift service. Reasonable priced menu. Since the name contains the the word dumpling, I decided to give it ago with chicken and prawn dumplings. The meat content is nicely cooked but the dumpling skin is a bit thick and hard. The vegetarian bun on the other hand is surprisingly soft with good flavours. The content looked fresh as well. You should try braised lamb noodle soup if you like lamb – tender meat, well balanced flavour and very lamb!
Had a range of dishes but unfortunately none were too impressive. Environment was clean with friendly service and reasonable pricing for the area but not for the food.
Pan fried pork dumplings: Skin was varied. Some were quite thin while others were thick as.
Shanghai style pork buns: Totally un-authentic. The skin was like the skin of steamed baos – thick as.
Won ton soup: Won tons weren’t even in won ton shape. They were oblong shaped and was a little too salty in my opinion.
Fried noodles: Had to be the best dish out of the lot.
3.75/5
Standard Asian takeaway with great dumplings big fan of the pork ones and the wontons. Definitely a busy weeknight staple when no one can be bothered cooking. The portions are great for the value and usually my family gets 3 dishes to feed a family of 5.
Good food for the price. Always enjoy their freshly cooked pan friend chicken and prawn dumplings. Some dry noodle dish was good too. Hot and sour wonton soup is a must try.
