Nice siantar noodles with tasty minced meat and soy sauce eggs and pork. The fried noodles were also very nice and a good sized portion. One of the better Indonesian noodles that I’ve had in Melbourne.

Best bakmi in melbourne! The noodles themselves are good, the meat is good (esp. minced ones), broth soup goes well with it all. And if you like spicy, the chillies are great too!

I haven’t had Indonesian food before to compare if it’s authentic. Hand made noodles without MSG after taste. Pretty good simple asian noodles.

The most tasty noodle I’ve tried in Melbourne 🙂
Try the bakmie keriting siantar, it’s really yummy, especially if you like spicy food, the chillies are good – both the cut chili n the other one. Very spicy but yummy.

Found this little jewel and I have to say that the food tastes like home. Have missed bakmie from Indonesia and this is one place where I really enjoy their bakmie. It’s great that there is a choice between a small, medium or a large. Price is on the pricey side for the the quantity. Would not come regularly but maybe once a year or so

I’m from Siantar and I’ve been here few times because I love the authenticity of the Bakmie. It was so close to my childhood’s taste. I never disappointed by the quality of the food and service. I am also very pleased that my friend love this place And become his favourite noodle dish.
My only wish is hoping they’ll open another shop or move to CBD area.
    Still worth to travel though.

We have been twice to this place. The noodle taste is good its quite authentic. The portion is very small for the price. Both times ordered large. All my friends that came with me had the same opinion for the portion size specially for $12 a bowl is not cheap for a noodle. If could top up around 20% I believe can get return customers.
