Went here today for a Fathers Day Lunch had checked out the menu prior to arriving was looking forward to trying out one of the burgers from bobs burgers as they sounded pretty good.. so I ended up getting the cb burger it looked ok when it arrived but I noticed it had chicken and beef in it which it said on menu was only a beef burger so thought what the hell Ill try it anyway.. burger patty was dry and had no flavour and chicken was also dry.. special sauce way to running I really didnt enjoy it.. if you are going to open up a burger diner first thing you should make sure is that you make good burgers very disappointing experience.. I dont think I would go back.

We were second in line & I think we waited 5 minutes as the lady in front had a big order which was fine. But there was heaps of other workers going past & none had offered to help. When we got our food, it was very fresh & had a lot of cheese. But they did have some inconsistencies like my sisters had so much cheese & my dads had so much ham & mine just had the minimal amount. We were please when my sister got vegetables instead of salad that it was fresh not frozen & the chicken was also quite thick!
It was an overall good experience for pub food.

Im commenting particularly on Bobs Bar inside the pub although there are a few different rooms you can visit. The pub itself has been around since the late 1800s and in the last few years has had a freshen up.
At the Doncaster Hotel there is a family bistro which is well suited for kids. Plus there is a sports bar and a TAB. There is also an outdoor area.
In Bobs Bar you can have pub food, play a game on the billiard table, watch any of the multiple television screens televising sport or sit and chat with friends and locals.
All televisions are HD. During winter you can watch Aussie rules and in summer you can watch cricket. There is also American football, baseball and basketball. 26 screens throughout the facility.
Food? Pub food as I said before. Big portion sizes.
This place is wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. High chairs available. Good parking at the rear. Enter via the rear.
Staff are very helpful.
