Food were ok but slightly salty for me. Service were great and attentive. They offer couple complimentary starters like edamame, fried prawns, salads. The portions given were generous, we were almost full after the starters and entrees. Bento box comes with super sweet korean beef bulgogi, not too authentic to me.
They bring out edamame and crispy school prawns as complimentary starters on arrival. We shared the large mixed sashimi which was all very fresh and nice although the pieces seemed to be cut too thick for our liking and compared to any sashimi Ive had previously. Saying that; it was very fresh though. The ox tongue was fantastic, but we could have done with a larger serving. Finally, the mixed tempura was all class. Kudos to the man behind the bar (who seemed to be the boss) and checked all dishes were enjoyed and was very charming. Unfortunately they had a Chinese waitress with no food knowledge – I guess its hard to get good help?
