First time here, and to be honest didn’t have too high of an expectation. This is thai food with a modern twist. The entrees were really delicious and this restaurant does deep fried really well. The chatuchuk wings were crispy full of flavour and the honey soy complemented it well. For mains the standout was the soft shell crab which was again crispy, the crispy noodles were nice to soak up the black pepper sauce, but unfortunately there were only 2 small pieces of soft shell crab for $28. The grilled pork neck was dry, quite bland on its own and nothing too special. The red duck curry was nice with the addition of lychee (and grapes!) providing sweetness to the dish (as thai curry should be), but the duck was also quite dry.Desserts wasn’t amazing either. Banana fritters and also sticky rice with mango, both desserts just didn’t have enough ice cream! Having the mango pureed instead of whole mangoes as it usually is didn’t quite work for me either.Overall the entrees were delicious, mains were mediocre at best and desserts didn’t quite hit the mark. Hence the 3/5.This is only my first visit and there are other dishes that seem interesting enough to warrant another visit. I’ll be back!

Really delicious Thai food however more expensive than your regular Thai restaurant. Standout dish was the pork ribs- they were massive and sooooooo delicious- they literally fell off the bone and I loved every bite – very worth $28It was also one of the best pad Thais I’ve ever had because the sauce was soooo yumGreen curry was pretty average.

Had such a wonderful time here and the food is quite authentic yet modern. Had a good asian fusion twist to it which i love. I love how its local and the interior is beautiful.Highlights: great parking location, doesn’t get too crowded. Favourites were the quail, thai milk tea panna cotta, duck curry, lamb chop, papaya salad.Lowlights: food were maybe a little on the pricier side but for the quality i don’t mind paying as portion was pretty good.Overall i would highly recommend this place!

My partner and I tried Jade Fox for dinner on a Thursday night. We loved the decor and that it was quiet due to not being busy and a big (but not too big) space. We had the basil duck, squid entree and egg meat salad. Food was really good and we will return. I’m not sure I’d eat here “regularly” as it was on the expensive side when compared to other Thai restaurants in the same area that produce good food also.

Great food, great ambience, friendly staff. Great place for lunch! Highly recommend. Just need to spruce up their main entrance because it’s a bit hard to find/see. Maybe a bright neon sign?
