My partner and I have dined here on multiple occasions. It is serenity. A medium-sized Japanese restaurant that is divided into two rooms, for la carte and teppanyaki seatings.
The selection is very much adequate in terms of variety. And price-wise, the menu sits on the middle-high end, comparable to higher-end restaurants.
Quality-wise I found the unagi rather tough, over-cooked and more proteinaceous than even your typical sushi takeaway. The sukiyaki came in a good portion size. I was surprised that it came in a bowl and soup as opposed to hot plate style but it was substantial and delicious.
The nasu dengaku amazing, tender without being watery, with the right amount of give and topped with a light, buttery sesame dressing.
