Used to be a nice cafe but now quite dirty needs a good clean we sat at a window seat with dead things on window sill next to us. It was a very hot day and the air conditioning was doing nothing we actually left earlier than we wanted so we could find somewhere cooler. Staff are lovely. Food was nice but menu could do with a bit of a change. Dont think Ill go back.
Visited for lunch with friends on a weekday. Disappointed with the service as they had run out of our selection of cold drinks and one of the main course items we ordered. Ate the pumpkin mash with feta and poached egg- yummy. Burger was spicy and with complex flavours. Otherwise all ok. Perhaps caught by suppliers on holidays as it was 14/1. Worth another visit.
We really wanted to support this local place and were expecting great things given other reviews, but ultimately left a little disappointed. The breakfast dish we got was a by the numbers affair that you can get at any cafe these days, and the calamari was one of the more bland versions weve had.
