Been here twice for yumcha and ordered a few different items, they taste fresh and healthy. For example, they have a steamed rice flour with chinese kale and tofu, fish ball dish with some veggies in it and battered fish in bite sizes (I know it’s not that healthy but better than calamari). They don’t season their food heavily. What I really liked about this place is their service is great, waiter/waitress are very attentive, they fill up your teapot without having to ask them to do so. We were also not rushed into finishing our food. The dining here is very pleasant and enjoyable.

Yum Cha at Wealth Kitchen on a public holiday was a bit too hectic. There was so much frantic activity, and the added chairs and tables that extended all the way up to the entrance of the restaurant felt very cramped, creating a hectic atmosphere with not much room to relax.
Despite all the chaos, what really stood out for me was the customer service. The staff were extremely accommodating, and made sure to attend to us whenever we had questions of specific dim sum we were after. With so many diners, it seemed like there wasn’t enough food to go around, as the dim sum trolleys were half empty by the time it got to us.

The food on the other hand was outstanding! We particularly enjoyed the congee, which was packed of flavour (more than others), and although just a subtle difference, it made all the difference when compared to other congees I’ve had for yum cha – just a bowl full of comfort.
I think the deep fried taro dumplings also deserves a special mention here. The filling of the dumplings were so flavoursome and juicy, just the right consistency, and probably one of the best I’ve ever had.
In terms of the food we ordered, the only gripe that we had was that the deep fried beancurd prawn dumplings were not fresh, and thus resulted in a not so crunchy but rather soft exterior of the beancurd.

Whilst the food was delicious and staff were charming, variety of dim sum was lacking. Regardless, the quality of food made up for it, and we would have had an excellent experience if it had not been so hectic.

I must be too hungry when the food came and I realised I didnt take photos of my other dim sims.

Wealth Garden is our fav yum cha place cos we think SK is pretty average now…

I have been visiting this restaurant since it was named as Purple Sands, New Panda .. and currently as the Wealth Garden.

    Dim Sims are very authentic.

My favourites are bbq pork buns, prawns dumplings, Prawns siu mai, steam beef , Deep fried white bait, steamed meat loaf with tofu sheets, Tofu desserts…etc!

a bit pricey -Yum Cha for two costs us $7x
