Gyoza Gyoza Doncaster
-Huge selection on the menu with high quality Japanese food!
Food 5: its hard to choose because everything tastes so good. Our favourites were the miso eggplant, the agadashi tofu and the tuna tataki. of course, their Gyoza are amazing, especially the prawn and chives. We also had salmon tataki, enoki mushrooms, scallops with melted cheese and oysters. In terms of drinks we recommend the sparkling sake and anything with their soft serve icecream.
Service 5: quick service and the food comes in courses, which gives you time to appreciate the dishes and not be overwhelmed by all the amazing food.
Ambiance 5: you know a place is great when its busy on a week night! even though the place is popular, there is plenty of room and it is spacious.
Last time i went to gyoza gyoza at chadstone, i wasnt expecting to ever go to any other one of their restaurants again. Everything was just excessivly oily. But after a friend recommended it, i thought I’d give it one more shot. This time did not disappoint though. Actually loved this iced coffee so much, and the hajicha & green tea soft serve on top was my partner absolutely loved the fried sweet chilli chicken and the black asahi is now his go too beer definitely coming back again to try their cocktails!
Food was tasteful. Loved the garlic gyoza, beef tataki and scallop hand roll! All were flavorful and memorable.
Service was friendly and welcoming.
Ambiance of the place has a cool and sophisticated feel to it. Plenty of seating.
This little restaurant is perfect place for gatherings and people who like to try different dishes. I would recommend ordering at least 6-7 small dishes if you are in a group of 3-4 people. They have pretty decent set menu, and I would definitely add a cute drink with your meal. The cotton candy hot chocolate was quite sweet, something for someone with a huge sweet tooth!
Found this place walking to the bus stop car park. The food was really good and customer service was great. The only thing I can fault is the small portion and reason not for a 5 star. We were till hungry after all this food however will definitely be back to try out other food.
We came here on a Friday evening for dinner. Service was a complete let down. The waiter had no clue about the drinks list and forgot one of our gyoza orders. The food was pretty good though. I enjoyed the gyozas as they were juicy and full flavoured. The tori karaage and crab croquettes were also nice.
Gyoza Gyoza have a number of locations, I visited the Doncaster outlet & was excited to try the Japanese style tapas menu. Its located just outside Doncaster Shopping Centre which is handy if you dont feel like dealing with shoppers. As well as seating inside, there is a lovely undercover outside area for when the weather improves.
We ordered a number of dishes to share & drinks. We tried a delicious pineapple mocktail & a matcha drink with soft serve matcha ice cream.
We loved the miso eggplant, tender & creamy with a tasty miso sauce. The pork & cabbage Gyoza were delicious, we could have had more of these. The salmon tataki salad was a lovely fresh dish which was a nice addition to our feast & the lotus chips were crispy, salty & had added a fantastic crunch. We couldnt resist the okonomiyaki which was soft & worked so well with the tangy sauces. The highlight was the lobster mini burgers, super cute with a lovely fresh flavour.
We finished with a blueberry cheesecake macaron & a matcha. The presentation was really pretty & the macaron was light & delicious.
We really enjoyed the selection of dishes we tried but as the menu is quite extensive, this gives us a reason to go back & try more. Thanks so much for having us.
