Stopped here a couple of times for an aai bowl and am always so content with it! The new youfoodz product being stocked here is a great idea for the health conscious. I havent tried the raw treats but they seem super popular.
– The staff really need some training on service. I once waited 5 minutes (I counted) while a girl stood there on her phone not even 2 metres away from me and did not even notice me, even though I was the only customer.
– Another time I waited 10 minutes after they made my food because they couldnt fix the eftpos machine and only decided to tell me after they made the food I will have to go and withdraw cash so they could still make money from me even though they knew it was broken and I was paying with card when I got there.
– Ive also watched numerous people wait at the counter and walk away because the girls are to busy having a chat and laughing to notice anyone.
I may not be back for those reasons unless I really need an aai fix.
Really great for filling up and healthy alternative to the food court. Acai bowls are about $13 which is actually very reasonable and they are delicious. Preparation is slow however, so expect to wait for quite a while. There are only 3 stools at the counter, and if the staff were friendly and gave you a smile every once in a while as they were preparing your food it might be less awkward. But I really felt that I was putting the girl out by ordering a drink AND a meal. I’m not sure if she had no personality or just didn’t want to be there, but she would not crack a smile. And what is it with not acknowledging customers who are patiently waiting for their turn? That really should be in the customer services rule book 101. Of course I this wasn’t the only time I’ve seen customers ignored in any sort of business, but as its quite a wait (only one girl on and an acai bowl and smoothies to prepare), it’s a while before you’ll get served. Would I go back? Yes, definitely. But take something to read for the wait, and don’t expect much friendliness!
Staff member was a little shy but friendly. No seating around the shop. If you ignore the price like I did this place is wonderful. I got the honey nutter smoothie which was very thick and cold but no ice which I actually missed a little but I’m glad they’re not wasting space. I also picked up forrero rocher and red chocolate royale slices which seem to be vegan and raw. Both are enjoyable and rich how I like it. Super delicious products
When I go shopping at Westfield I ALWAYS stop nutrition station by to grab myself a delicious raw vegan dessert – sometimes a vegan take home curry too.
I had the forever energy drink recently and my god I’m so happy there is a spot up top here for this place. Been going in Sydney a fair bit on trips as I work out a lot and I love how they have all the main body building ingredients – L Glutamine, protein powder, vegan protein, Cacao nibs/and acai – such high quality ingredients don’t come cheap but if you need to fill up you can do it here for under $15.
Staff are very knowledgeable as well which is a bonus. Not a sit down and chill place more a get it and go home in the car place.
I hope these start popping up in more locations!
This is my favourite place to get raw cakes and tarts from! They’re better than the ones from The Raw Trader and not as expensive. They don’t always stock the tarts though, which is a shame.
The raw treats from Nutrition Station are delicious, but I do have a little bit of an issue with the service. The staff, whilst not outright rude, act as though they have something better to be doing instead of serving and can be rather cold and snide at times. If the service is improved to match the quality of the product, I would frequent here more often.
