Fantastic place to taste wine. Just look at those views. Its a great system; $10 tasting fee for 8 wines of your choice (but you often get bonuses); we got a free bubbly and a white. They have a broad range from daily drinkers to nice stuff to cellar. A broad range to suit most tastes.
The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They said 8 glasses ended up being 1 standard drink but I think it was probably more! Only downside is the restaurant is a separate business so apart from some crackers its no food. Best views ever though.
We stopped in here for a tasting at 4.15pm only to be turned away because they stop their tastings at 4pm as they do them at the table and they take 1 hour?! It states on their website they’re open until 5pm, no mention of when the tastings cease. We were told they’re only open for sales, a little hard to sell your wine when you’re not even prepared to be a little flexible and offer to provide even a gasp, quick stand up tasting so we could purchase. Pompous and rude! Go elsewhere.
