This was a lifesaver last Saturday night. Two fried dimmies can sometimes taste like the greatest meal in the world. We’d run into a lovely fellow at Two Buoys next door. I was particularly impressed by his whisky with beer chaser. After a few wines and lots of banter, we discovered he was a local chef. We’d been to his cafe and had really enjoyed it. He loved that I’d written favorably of the experience and had pictures too. We discussed the features of the dish he’d prepared that day. After a hug and farewell, we decided to walk a couple of kilometres to our accommodation to ward off some of the effects of the last cab sav. A six degree night and a walk can help clear the head a little. It was dinner time though, and we just needed the dimmies first. They were cooked deliciously here and tasted magnificent. The staff we spoke to were lovely here as well. The shop was spotless and we could see it was popular judging by the fine looking people coming in and out. We’ll be back.
