Super friendly staff and a warm environment. Family friendly with loads of space between tables, not overly noisy and most importantly, great good. I got the asparagus omelette, minus the toast (1 pc standard), and it was so delicious. Coffee was good, too. Great location.
excellent food, coffee was great and the service was warm and welcoming. well done guys, always a great experience visiting the cafe. thanks!
Had the heirloom tomatoes with fresh mozzarella, drizzled with olive oil – so light and refreshing! Great coffee and staff, cutout was beautiful as well. Definitely recommend this place.
Great cafe, excellent food and coffee which is needed in this area. Service is great with a personal touch and family run, 10/10. Particularly like the specials which change regularly.
So happy that this wonderful family took over. It is a fabulous spot and breakfast is always delicious and service friendly. Have had most of their menu and it is always good, though particular favourites are the pork croquettes and the chilli scrambled eggs. I also often grab a yummy and fresh almond croissant on the walk to work if I am running late.
Amazing tart and great service!!! Fitout is cool too. Lunch specials are really well priced and the staff are really friendly, my friend had the steak sandwich which was on the small side and didn’t come with a side or anything but all in all lived it.
This place used to be known as Aggy’s and it was a disappointing establishment. I like the spot though. Wellington Road South is a hidden gem. A lovely place for a quiet stroll under the trees on the edge of the CBD. They make the most here of the gentle outlook to Wellington Park and I quite like the airy acoustics of the bistro itself. The decoration is a bit spartan and minimalist for me though. I only came for a coffee today but was disappointed I must say. The brew lacked polish and substance. Not a coffee that meets Melbourne’s exacting standards in my book. Service was also a bit too standoffish for me for a new and willing customer. I might give this one last try in the future if the ratings get to a respectable level. There’s a way to go yet before that happens.
