A great place to dine before an event at MCG or Rod Laver. There are not many restaurants in the area, so be sure to book as it was jam packed at 6pm. We tried the Lasagna and Gnocchi with sausage ragu. Both were very tasty. The garlic bread was a little disappointing. We felt it was dry and lacked flavour. For dessert we tried the creme brle with lime and cardamon. This was light, not too sweet and the perfect ending to our meal. Service was very efficient but perhaps some extra smiles would be nice from the wait staff.
We were staying at the Pullman on the Park for a conference and a group of us wandered up the road for a meal. We came across Il Duca and decided Italian suited everyone. The meals were fantastic. Especially the gnocci, lasagne and seafood pizza. One of our group wanted to lick the plate it was so good! Service was excellent too and the meals were really well priced. Can highly recommend this restaurant and it’s pretty much opposite the MCG so great for a meal before or after the footy.
