Sorry about the photo. I took as much care in taking the picture as KereKere did in presentation.

The most attractive thing about KereKere is the location. Set within Fitzroy Gardens, it is truly in a magical place. I later found out that it’s a social enterprise which also makes it admirable.

Having said that, I wouldn’t come here for good food. The toastie I ordered was … plain. It’s a toastie. Nothing particularly memorable.

Service was good and prompt. I would come back again because it’s in a beautiful setting and is great for a quiet spot for lunch time catch ups.

Had a quick bite to eat and drink after a long hot day. The decor was lovely and fit well with the surroundings of Fitzroy Gardens. The food was good quality, delicious and within the price range of the area. We had toasties, homemade lemonade and water from Daylesford. The ham was good quality ham – i haven’t had this kind of ham whilst eating out in a long time, the homemade lemonade was delcious and not too sweet. Why aren’t other places selling Daylesford water? Good to see that Kerekere is supporting local businesses. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

The best cafe I have seen inside a garden. Nice clean wooden design gives you a really relaxing feel. The ice coffee was very nice and the English tea actually came in a small pot which is a big thumb up! The banana bread and brownie were good in texture and not too dry~

Nice little cafe and certainly superior to the nearby Pavillion Cafe. The coffee was lovely and so was the cookie we had with it. Service was efficient and friendly. The only slightly disconcerting thing was the man at the next table who appeared to want his monologue heard by everyone. Well, you come across those sort of unthinking people anywhere in the world, don’t you.

The spaces at this cafe are quite nice both inside and out. We sat outside beside the lovely star jasmine creeper and took in its lovely scent as we sipped our coffee.

This was a lovely spot and we will surely return.

Very pleasant place to come for an afternoon coffee. It wasn’t too busy, the service was good and a lovely place to sit on a sunny afternoon. We just had coffees and I had a hot chocolate, which was fine, but I like them a little stronger. I’d return, a lovely place for a coffee.

Ordered a piccolo latte. The taste was fine, not too bad. Nothing special.

The good thing was just this cafe is located at fitzroy garden and the view was amazing. So relaxing.

The staff was friendly too 😉

I’ve only had the chai pot here so I’m possibly not the best to look to for a review, though their chai teapots are excellent. They use lose leaf chai that I found isn’t too bitter. Even though there is honey on the side, it isn’t really needed as the sweetness of the perfectly tempered milk comes through.
