Being the only bar / restaurant in Pullman at The Park, The Cliven Bar & Dining was teeming with businessman, cabin crews and travellers. Met up with a cousin and had dinner here.
Both of us ordered their sweet potato chips, pumpkin soup and pasta of the day – spaghetti with cheese cream sauce. As I am a cheese lover, I absolutely loved my dish! It was thick, creamy and savoury just the way I like it – though when it comes to creamy dishes, the cream dried up quickly over time so make sure not to repeat the same mistake I did (I’m a slow eater).
The sweet potato chips were fresh but the batter could be better and crunchier, they turned soggy after left out for a while. The pumpkin soup was satisfactorily rich and flavorsome, paired well with a chilled Lemon Lime Bitter. Our waiter who is an European man was amazingly attentive, patient and accommodating! Never felt like we were rushed at all and was always ready to serve with pleasure.
Despite this restaurant not being in the most central location, it is actually a wonderful place to have a good long catch up with cozy ambiance and attentive service. Highly recommend The Cliveden Bar & Dining 🙂
