I’m sorry to say that Navano’s, formerly Maxys, has closed. I had planned to try it out in its new incarnation but by the time I got around to it two Saturday’s ago the lights were out. Today when I passed it by, I’m sorry to say, there was a For Lease sign on the window.
There must have been a fair bit of money spent on the renovations and a lot of thought taken over the change in the menu. But Glenhuntly road has a few restaurants and cafes competing for the customer’s dollar.
Maxys had been a thriving concern once. Navano’s hadn’t made it off the ground. It’s sad now to walk past and see that To Lease sign.
