After renovations & being closed for an extended period of time, this beautiful spot in Elsternwick cafe has been reopened for a bit under 2 months now & they’re kicking brunch goals. Also, bonus points for using metal straws rather than plastic/paper. I loved the colour scheme of grey with pops of pink, blue & green (aka the cutest little green table ever!) It felt modern but also had natural elements like a planter being built into the long benches. Great coffee, tasty smoothies & delicious food, need I say more? The waitresses were so lovely, and looked after me so well. They gave awesome recommendations for the food & drinks. The food came out quickly & all together which was awesome (especially for taking pics/videos!)
One of the cafes that offered one of the best falafels. I’m usually not the girl who like chickpeas or falafels but this cafe have changed me. They were crispy on the outside, moist and fluffy on the inside. It was that good! We had Nourish bowl with extra smoked salmon, Pound mushroom, Blueberry + ginger pancakes, Beetroot latte, Golden latte, Iced coffee and Super green cold pressed juice.Overall, great cafe with good food and friendly staff and I can’t highly recommend enough of their Nourish bowl!
What a great little find. Came over from the other side of town to meet local friends, randomly chose Pound 3185 and zero regrets. It’s off Glen Huntly Road down a side street, and we were there after the brunch rush had probably subsided, but friendly attentive staff, good coffee and four empty plates means we can definitely recommend this place.
Lunch at Pound included a serve of fluffy stacked pancakes that were super filling, decent bacon chilli scrambled eggs and our favourite, the breakfast bruschetta with broccolini, halloumi, egg, pesto+yogurt (which made the dish soooo good) and prosciutto.REALLY rate the smoothie as well! We added extra pea protein into ours Coffee was good, service was really nice. Great local spot!
