Had the pleasure of dining here yesterday on a Friday night. Dont go in with the expectation of just an ordinary chinese place. This restaurant tucked away on leake street really wowed me with both the prices and quality of the food. I had a considerate server who offered silver ware without even having to ask. The mapo tofu szechuab was to die for. Topped off with a nice lychee icecream. It was so refreshing. Was a good find and definitely come back here with more friends
We enjoyed Tope! The staff were very pleasant, service was efficient and good. We replicated our first meal that we had there, years ago. We had the delicious beef, which was delicious and simply, scallops with vegetables. Lychees with ice cream were a nice finish. The food was well presented. However, I do think that where you order dishes to share, they arrive together, or in the order of your choice. Delicious beef followed by scallops was not a good idea.
This is relatively simple food, tasty, well presented and not overpriced. We will be back.
