Comfortingly down at heel bistro on the busy Heidelberg Rd/Station St corner. Meals are large and substantial and fairly tasty while never hitting the upper heights. My chicken something or other with chorizo was nice. I’d call it comfort food. Finally, a pat on the back for our waitress tonight too. She took care of a whole room with great efficiency and unfailing good humour. She’s a star and the boss of the place needs to increase her pay immediately.
Awesome service!! Great food! Kids eat free Friday and Saturday nights. Buy one Parma get one free on Sundays plus $6 pints! Couldn’t get any better
Excellent service. Great with kids, really helpful. Went early on Saturday lunch and got a quiet, shady spot outside. Unpretentious, tasty pub food. My burger was big and full of flavour.
Wasn’t all that Grand and no view I could see. Very basic service.I ordered salad as an extra ( cost $2 )it was about a half a cup in volume, It was buried under thepiping hot fried Parma, I had to quickly try and rescue the salad , but it was to late . Mostly Wilted. Why would anyone do this? Stack the Parma on the chips and bring out a side salad.Dinning roomwas closed Thursday lunch time so meals were served in the bar.Inexpensive meals with abigger then average serve.Very Cheap Mealswith a wide variety to choose fromParking available on site
There is a very friendly place, serving typically local customers, mostly middle aged men and a young family here and there. Beer is cold, and while the food certainly isn’t gourmet, the flavour is there and the sizes large.
$10 lunch menu during the day makes this a nice cheap place for a pub lunch. The food is pretty good for the price, however it is definitely just a tradesman’s type of place, not a family venue
Good pub food and reasonably priced. Wednesday night is Comedy night $40 two course meal and 2-3 hours of comedy , top line comedians Dave O’neill , Jimoin , Hughesy etc etc
