The service here is bad. One waitress has no idea about personal space – her face right in your face asking you your order. Place order. Then get asked another 4 times if you are ready to order……politely answer have already ordered….. Bought water by waitress. Go to pick up glass to fill it and another waitress swings by and moves it away from you – out of reach – to accommodate another person sitting at communal table. WTH. Coffee finally arrives and there is no sugar anywhere. Not on this table. Not on any tables.

The most unrelaxing and irritating experience ever. Being badgered by staff is not good service.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, offering suggestions on the menu and specials. Excellent breakfast menu options which I hope to try in the future. Had the avocado and halloumi toastie and it was delicious. Also a food store with fresh, organic produce and range of products. Excellent local store based in Fairfield Village a short walk from the station or buses.

I really enjoyed my meal here at harvest it’s he first time I’ve been I had the chicken and leek pie which was fresh full of flavour the pastry was to die for I really don’t know why there are some bad reviews while the cafe is a little outdated and the staff are not the most pleasant the food coffee and bread sweets are good I got a few things to takeaway And would happily return

Love this place for their baked goods…I think they make the best chai in Fairfield. Service is great, the times I’ve been the staff are always consistency friendly no matter how busy they are. Like I said their baked sweet goods are amazing and worth a try. Addictive!!! Always a great place to drop my and get coffee or chai.

I had never been here before when a friend suggested this place. Station Street Fairfield is not one of my favourite places for lunch. So, I really felt for the sausage roll with the seasonal salad. The sausage roll was served first and the salad was to come 10 minutes later as they had run out. No problem. My two colleagues ordered the lamb ragu with the rice. They loved their dish. I ate two mouthfuls of my sausage roll and it was hard and tasteless. I took a third bite and decided I could not eat any more. I asked my colleague to try some of my sausage roll to have her comments. She repeated what I had thought. It was dry, hard, not moist and no herbs throughout it. When I was asked if I wanted another one, I refused and did not want the salad. Pity that a place like this cannot get a basic sausage roll right. It would be moist and full of flavour. I will not return.

Also, beware of Reviewers that show 1 REVIEW and claim that the food is fantastic ! Hoax

As a regular customer of Harvest, it’s a real shame that a recent change of owners has let this place down. Quality of food has really decreased and unfortunately I feel the sense of friendliness has been lost. In fact few of my favourite staff members don’t seem to be there anymore which is sad, I don’t know if they have left or been moved on as I see much younger employees have replaced so it makes me wonder. Recently while in for a coffee I over heard a senior male staff member who I believe is the owner, speaking very rudely to his staff. Because of this I don’t think I will be going back to harvest again, friendliness and treatment of staff is something I really value in a small business and I can’t support a cafe that is rude to hardworking young people.

This cafe/ organic food store on station street is amazing! It is quite industrial looking, but being a big open space it seems airy and bright. The cafe also has in and out seating depending on weather. I’m calling it- this place has the best chai I have ever had and in a very generous serving. I had the Autumn breaky which had 2 eggs on toast, mushroom, bacon, baked beans, avocado and goats feta. The food was delicious and fresh and the staff are very attentive to the customers. I’ll definitely be back!
