One of my favourite local pizza stores in Fairfield, delicious thin crust pizzas and excellent variety of options. Home delivery service has always been reliable with reasonable delivery times and friendly service.
Ordered two small pizzas and a pasta.
Service: I live about a 5 minute drive from Pizza Stazione, from ordering to delivery only took 30mins so I was very pleased!
Food:
Pasta- Ordered Calabrese
I did wish they cooked the pasta for just another 3 minutes and that the onions were finely chopped rather than in big chunks.
I did like the flavour of the pasta, there was enough salami and it was topped with a lot of cheese. It has this spicy kick but not to spicy that it’s not enjoyable. Overall good in flavour.
Also serving size is generous, came in rectangular plastic takeaway container but it was deep and bit bigger than normal.
Pizza- Ordered Romano and Prosciutto
Romano pizza was my favourite, it did taste very good and the chorizos were cooked to how I like them crispy. The flavours with the capsicum and spring onions worked very well.
Prosciutto pizza, I found the prosciutto used did lack a bit of a kick of flavour to it. Not a bad pizza just the prosciutto it self just needed a bit more body to it.
The pizza base for both of the pizza were great, crispy crust and thin base. The dough itself is not doughy or chewy.
Price: Very reasonable especially for the quality and flavour of the pizza

I ordered many times from this place… always a great experience.. pizze are always good.
Online orders take a while to come… more than once we waited over 1 hr… and i live in Fairfield!
Price could be a little lower… but when the quality is ok you are happy to pay a bit more.
We enjoyed eating at Pizza Stazione! Well priced and a great service! The only thing that I could fault was the wait time for pick up and delivery.
Excellent solid go to takeaway. It’s my fave in the area as it’s still reasonably priced, unlike other more upmarket style pizza joints on high St. Quality always good and fresh.
We had two pizzas here; a vegetarian and one with ‘the lot’. Both pizzas were really nicely done. They were fresh and tasty, not greasy and with a thin crust. Thin crusts are not to everyone’s taste but we enjoyed them. The only thing thing is we ate in and the set up for eating in is basic; a big communal table with stools or a few tall stools at a window counter. You are lucky to get a napkin. This is more a take-away place and it was very busy with orders. Prices were very reasonable and pizzas were good.
Favourite pizza place. I’ve been to a few across Melbourne. This has to be my favourite. My go to place when after that cheat meal. Recommend this place. 🙂
