Tonight i had their iftar menu. It’s good i had booked the table in advance as when i went in, all tables were reserved. We had about 10 min left for iftar so we waited. Even though the restaurant is not very new and not very old, i think they should have had an Azaan somewhere as not even the staff knew what time the iftari was. At least buy an athan clock. Anyway, we along with the other people began our iftar by looking at our clocks. Our iftar menu consisted of Dates, 3 Pakoras (very yummy), 2 Samosas (yummy but cold), and 2 chapli kebabs (delicious)
The guys then started their prayer at the praying area in the restaurant. The staff did not know where the Qibla was so guys took out their mobile phones and used their Apps.
After that came the buffet dinner which consisted of Chicken briyani, mutton palao, smoked lamb karhai, chicken karhai and lamb kofta karhai. From my point of view, dinner menu was alright. I could only taste the flavour in the lamb smoked karhai. The rice were average and other karhai were average too.
Overall the price was reasonable for this amount of food ($15) per head.
I think they can improve in their ambience, have an athan clock for ramadan and also make the food a bit more authentic.
