First timers to Ferntree Thai getting take-out here tonight! Delicious food at great prices! The dishes and flavours were authentic! Nothing was missing off the menu, something for everyone and we were all impressed! Highly recommend the basil stir fry, the pumpkins fritters and the bbq chicken with garlic butter sauce! Yum!
I’m no expert when it comes to Thai food, but you don’t need to be one to see that there was hardly any beef and duck in our beef and duck dishes or to taste that what was in them was low quality. The beef in particular was tasteless, dry and chewy.
And then the flavours of more or less everything we had were disappointing. That incredible sweet, sour, spicy freshness that I’m used to with so much Thai food never quite hit the spot. And the flavours that were there seemed kind of thin, watery and out of balance.
The service, though, was wonderful. Our waitress couldn’t have been more helpful, friendly and smiling. I think we’ll both remember her long after we’ve forgotten about the meal.
Great little place in ftg! Was introduced to this place by a friend. Fantastic food all round! The coconut rice is very flavoursome and the roti and satay is a must have starter. Staff seem very enthusiastic and attentative.
Pricing is very reasonable and quality is always great. Have never been let down. Will always come back. Keep up the great work
Expect your standard Thai food. Curries, stir fries etc. I say that as a positive because it’s traditional thai food that you know and love. Warm service and one of the better thai establishments in Melbourne.
Consistently delicious thai food, with reasonable wait times for pick up or delivery. Super easy to get food delivered, and always fresh and tasty. definitely our favourite restaurant in ferntree gully
Great food, excellent service. Worth the visit. I really enjoyed the food here it was authentic Thai food at a very reasonable price. The service was also very good and we felt like we were being waited on exceptionally well. Being new to Ferntree Gully we interested top find out what the area had to offer and this was a great experience. Will be back here again.
