Great atmosphere, appealing decor and friendly service. Red curry (gang panang) was flavourful and generous with ingredients. Unfortunately, the pad Thai dish was underwhelming, with a sad portion of noodles albeit with a good amount of meat. Pad Thai after all is a noodle dish, not chicken salad.
Hands down the best Thai restaurant Ive been to ( I have been to a lot ) we came here for a quick feed as it was nearby and I was so shocked surprised by the amount of flavour in each dish! Everything was cooked to perfection that I needed to also order extra to take home! Service was fantastic with a real laid back but attentive vibe which just makes for a great experience overall.
Loved the food. And the staff is very friendly. We ordered prawn dumplings and prawn tempura for entree and I ordered veg tom yum soup. Mains plain rice, coconut rice, prawn red curry, fish fries in red curry sauce. Mains were very yum and authentic. Dessert sago and tropical fruit with coconut ice cream. Would highly recommend that.
We had dinner here last night and it’s a popular place to come to in Ferntree Gully. The service was good and the 3 course banquet was very well priced and definitely worth it. The food was tasty and couldn’t get through it all.
Best Thai we’ve been able to find in the area and come here from Kilsyth. Have had takeaway and eaten in. Good serving sizes, really fresh and flavoursome dishes. Loved the chef’s special duck wok dish. Didn’t love the scallop entree in curry sauce – thought the scallops were a bit chewy and didn’t like the tofu. Every other dish we’ve had has been delicious. Service a bit slow, but friendly enough. Very small serving of rice for the price ($3 for one scoop, so you’ll need at least two of these per person), which is common for Asian restaurants, but still annoying. Nice and modern decor, clean and comfortable restaurant.
We stopped in at Lime Leaf Thai as we’re looking for a late dinner near to our accommodation in Sassafras. The food was incredible – flavoursome and authentic. Service was exceptional with very attentive and friendly staff. Although living over the other side of town, I will definitely be back. Our compliments to the chef for two amazing curries.
I have only had takeaway from this Thai caf, which is tucked away in the far corner of Mountain Gate shopping centre. The food was quite good I had a green vegetable curry and vegetarian spring rolls and the service was prompt and friendly. The menu included the standard Thai favourites, but the quality was above average. Although I didnt stay, I noted that the dcor was elegant, with smart table and chair settings, and a splash of lime on the walls, as wells as tree silhouette ornamentation. I would probably try this place again, if I am passing by.
