We love coming here for a good hearty meal, the service is always great, the coffees aren’t too bad and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. A great place in Fish Creek.
The fishy pub is an institution and much beloved by locals. It was recently sold and taken over, and when we visited the food was no longer as good as it was, nor were the vegetarian options. They used to make an eggplant parmigiana that was truly excellent. The harsh white lighting at dinner made the place far less ambient than it used to be with it dimmed and the fire place in use. Hope things improve as it really is a special place.
The service and friendliness from the staff won me over! The town is very small and there was hardly any option. At the start , I had low expectations for the meal but to my surprise it was not bad! Fish was nicely battered and chips were warm and fluffy! Could’ve had more tartare sauce since it was 2 pieces of fish. Onion rings portion was very generous and flavourful. Fish and chips $27 , onion rings $6.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. I had the pan seared salmon w/ pear and Parmesan salad. Everything was delicious, would definitely go back
