We have only just discovered Birichino and enjoyed our first time there. (I had a Birichino breakfast which kept me full for the rest of the day.) I went back for another sampling. This time I tried the cauliflower soup. I loved the flavours and am thinking of trying to replicate it at home. They make great coffee too!
Loving this new little gem in Fitzroy North. Unpretentious, casual atmosphere but REALLY good food. Have now tried a few breakfast options as well as lunch items – all were delish. Coffee is the best I’ve had. If you fancied a sit-down, truly Italian style lunch you can go from antipasto all the way through to dolce. I did this with a few friends recently in their courtyard. It was like being back in Italy! We were sooo full but so happy. I’m hoping they start doing booze soon so I can wash it down with a glass or two of prosecco!
