Canals Seafoods has been a staple retail outlet for seafood in Nicholson Street, North Fitzroy for in excess of 40 years. I have found the large variety of seafood (fish, shellfish and crustaceans) to always be super fresh and of excellent quality.
Always fresh quality cold seafood to take home and cook/create dishes with.They are good at suggesting fish to match certain recipes and have fish bones for making stock which they are happy to give you.
The yellow fin tuna we bought was sublime. Highly recommend this fish shop for high quality seafood, beautifully presented and o so fresh!
